Seeing Red - It's Valentine's Day!

However you celebrate, if it means a quiet night in, a lovely dinner out, a visit to Fort Langley, a latte at Lunch, a smile from a baby, a hug from your child, playing with your Grandchild, a movie with a friend, a bag of cinnamon hearts or devouring a huge big chocolate bar and curling up with a new magazine or a book; I wish you a Happy Day Valentine!

   Waiting to be devoured.

Happy Tuesday!

Seeing Red, Day 12

Several weeks ago our second oldest Granddaughter Carly, sent this pin home with her Papa, for me.  I've been wearing it ever since on my black walking hoodie.

Even before I received it, I had Carly's heart!  She is such a sweet and very fun loving little girl!  Thanks honey.

I hope you find love in all the right places!

Happy Monday.

Seeing Red, Day 10

Walking up a long steep hill, at just about the half way point of our walk between home and grabbing a cup of coffee, we happened upon this "probably" empty cup.  If you look at the round circle, it looks sort of like a smiling face.  Not sure in my case if it was mocking me, or encouraging me -- Go on, go get your own!  And that folks, is just what we did.

Whether you are sipping your cuppa, or your Java, or . . . hope it is pleasant!

Happy Saturday!

Seeing Red, Day 9

"Borrowing" this idea from my daughter Cathy, here are my Friday Five in a theme of red!

Our Grandson Hudson's Car.  He wasn't home, or I would have had a picture of him driving it towards my feet!

Our Granddaughter Abby's fish with a non-fishy name that I can't remember just now and her red, rubbery binoculars.

Post Script:  This fish's name is Toady!

Our Granddaughter Abby with her beautiful head of red, curly hair to die for, and her Smurf with red dumbbells and little red heart tattoo.

Our Son-in-law's shoulder displaying the VFD crest! I rarely see him in his uniform, this may have been only be the third time.  He'd just come home from work and was sitting talking to us so I asked his permission and snapped this one.

Our Grandson Colby with his little red tootsie-toes and his What's Not to Love? Snoopy Shirt.  We were just outside ready to leave and he gave me this wonderful moment!  It looks like Baby Annie has a "red" leg, but actually it was the most beautiful colour of popsicle pink!

That's my five; delight, interest, sweetness, pride and utter joy! When you reflect on your day I wonder what your five words will be.  I really hope there's something marvellous on your list!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Seeing Red, Day 8

As My beloved and I were going to buy our lucky lottery tickets, as far as I know they weren't, lucky that is; we spotted this recumbent bike parked outside of the local Starbucks.  When we walked by I noticed his dice.  Was I subconsciously thinking - our luck should be even better - like an omen or some such - perhaps we; read I, give too much credence to things that make us lucky!  Stop, enough already Motor Mouth.  Just show them the picture!

Lucky 7!

I sure hope as you are rolling through your day that Lady Luck is with you, and buy a ticket, tomorrow's lottery is $50Mil, you never know if you don't try it!

Happy Thursday Everyone!
