It was such a warm and sunny day that this lone mitten wasn't missed and got left behind. Some kind person picked it up and placed it on the light standard. I'll bet you've done that too, hopefully not the lost part, but found something and put it where hopefully the owner could find it.
If this is your mitten, collect it at the corner of 216th and 88th in Walnut Grove!
On our many walks we've found earrings, a ladies tartan jacket, keys, baby blankets, hoodies, baby hats, children's warm winter mittens, also an expensive, baby's Nike shoe. We try and put them up where they'll be noticeable and reclaimed. I'm glad to report that each of these items was claimed. Perhaps not by the owner, but claimed nonetheless. The only thing I don't try and return is money, unless the owner is right there, but more on that in a future blog.
Here's hoping for you that once was lost, is now found!
