Last night before we shut our eyes, My Beloved and I decided, let's sleep in tomorrow.
Our neighbours next door had a totally different plan for us.
You know our plan has gone terrifically wrong when on our "quiet" cul-de you hear trucks, trucks, vans and more trucks, idling, delivering, doors slamming, and the oh so distinctive sound of hammering. All this before the hour of 8:00 a.m.
Living in a mature neighbourhood like ours, it's a common occurrence. There is now only 1 more house on the cul de that has a new roof in its' future and that too is right next door. Oh well, we did it too and it's our turn to hear the ham-ham-hammering.
Here are a few pictures of the boys in action.
This is a terrifically difficult job that roofers do. My knee aches just thinking about it!
I must say it looks like a great weekend for roofers to do their job, but not so for the Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Birthday Party Saturday, Easter Sunday Hallelujah Celebration ahead.
May you find Peace dear reader.
