At the Cafe, Dot's Cafe that Is

My Beloved and I have discovered this little Cafe in downtown Langley.  It's not much to write home about unless you love very reasonably priced food-which we do-friendly service-which we do and well-prepared food-again, we do!

Today we lunched at Dot's Cafe http://dinehere.ca/langley/dots-cafe and the bill including coffees and tip came to $26.00!

When we told two of our Granddaughters about going there they wondered if there were polka dots on the walls and chairs, nope honey there aren't.  It's a 60s, sort of, styled diner that you wouldn't go to for the ambience, but, like us,  I believe you would return there because the food is consistently good, with a home made style.

Here are a few pictures,

The #7, $7.99 special

The view from my side of the table.

Yummy made from scratch soups.  Freshly baked muffins each morning.  Turkey sangys with real turkey.  Lots of free reading materials, free wiFi, regular customers and no rushing.  A Mom and Pop kind of Cafe.  Try it, you'll like it!  (Closes at 3:00 Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Not open on Sundays.)

I hope you enjoy a good homecooked something, something today.

Happy Thursday!
