No Stopping Beauty

If you've driven  east to Ft. Langley, you may have driven down 96th.   At one end, and fairly near our home, about a 10 minute drive from us, is  Ft. Langley.  About 6 minutes away and westbound, is Port Kells (Surrey).  This part of the Avenue is strewn with places like truck stop diners, pubs, fast food joints, 18-wheeler car washes, mechanic repair shops, heavy duty equipment--for sale or lease,  gas stations dedicated to truck refuelling, you name it.  If it's big, it can probably be found or fixed here.

Most of the establishments are functional, not pretty.

Good old Ace Truck Repairs.  I have to admit, this place looks pretty good!

Go big, or go home!

Today we drove west on 96th, 18-wheeler ally, to have our propane tank filled. It was at such an establishment described above, functional, not pretty that was our destination.

 Functional, not pretty!

What really caught my eye though was the flowering vine intertwined with the chain link.  Soft and pretty.  Quietly growing.  Left to its' own devices to grow and flourish. Luckily for us even in the roughest of places  there is No Stopping Beauty.  How wonderful!

I hope among the hard and noisy edges of life, you too found something wonderful.

Happy Tuesday!
