Even walkers get detoured. Case in point. Walking north on 204 today, we crossed at the crosswalk totally oblivious to all of the road work being done the hill. We looked down the road and this is what we saw.
We should have remembered that at least yesterday we slunk by the big 18 wheeler parked on the sidewalk and boulevard. Today though, not a chance!
After speaking to the signal lady, back across the street we went and on her say so safely crossed the road to get to our sidewalk. If you look behind the worker in the blue jeans, you can almost make out the sidewalk on 96th.
The remainder of the 1 hour:14:19.4 walk was unimpeded.

PS: The gloves blogged about yesterday are gone! Someone picked them up, I'm hoping it was the lady who lost them.
