One Finger High

Yesterday we had the extreme pleasure of celebrating our Granddaughter Annie's First Birthday.

What a little pussycat she is.  At this stage in her life she reminds us so much of her Momma.  Then a split second later, she looks exactly like her brother.  Our baby chameleon.

She loves her big brother Colby so and as we watched them interact you couldn't help but smile.  Colby sings a Barney song about "clean up" and she sings right along, rocking it all the way!  Are you kidding me?  Super adorable!

She has learned how to crawl, basically commando style but with a variation.  So cute.

Her white blond hair is growing in and it sticks out so that you can see it.  It is a colour women pay thousands for, but can never emulate. So beautiful.

Her Aunty, her Grandma and her Nanny are pretty sure she is partial to men like her Grandpa and her Papa because they seem to be able to hold her without warming her up first, while we ladies get the big crocodile tears.  That passes of course, then we grab her and kiss and cuddle her, but not before her Granddads get her first.  So endearing!

Annie, we knew from the day your Mommy and Daddy told us you were on your way, that we would love and cherish you.  You are our joy and our delight.

Happy Birthday Sweet Annie!  We love you so,

Happy Friday!
